My name is Kat, and this is Austin.
5 years ago I began a journey to discover an all-natural way for my dogs to live a healthier, happier, and calmer life. The results were so dramatic that I started a company to share my recipe with owners looking to give their pets the best life that they can.
I Was Searching for a Natural Solution . . .
Brady, my Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, needed help to cope with the symptoms of older age. He still had his bright, colorful spirit, but at 12 years old, he was beginning to need some help getting up in the morning—and getting around throughout the day. I’d learned about a hemp extract called cannabidiol (CBD) that had some early reports significant benefits for dogs – especially aging ones. After checking in with our vet, Dr. Mike, and getting the go-ahead, Brady and I decided to give it a try and see if I could put the spring back in Brady’s step.

Finding a quality CBD-rich hemp extract in 2014 was a pretty big challenge, but after a few weeks of searching a package arrived…I went to my kitchen and made my first batch of hemp-infused bites…they came out of the oven about as hard as a walnut shell! I soaked one in water for Brady to eat and within and hour he was he was walking around the house like his much younger self again. It was pretty amazing. I followed up the next day with another serving, and the day after that…the same thing. I had never seen such a marked, positive change in his demeanor and mobility. In my craziest dreams I couldn’t have anticipated this.
One day I gave one to Austin, my black lab puppy. Unlike Brady, Austin was always up by 5:30am each morning – and bouncing off the walls by 5:31am. But after starting him on a regimen of hemp with naturally occurring CBD, he seemed to calm down and chill out… (at least as much as a one-year-old can!)
AND JUST LIKE THAT… Austin and Kat became Austin and Kat.
With every batch, I fine-tuned my recipe. I learned everything I could about CBD and just how much is the right amount for pups of all sizes. All the while, word of my CBD-infused hemp bites started to spread. Friends kept popping over to grab a batch for their dogs, and before long I couldn’t even walk down the street without somebody stopping me to ask about them!

CBD VR Staff Review: J has a dog named Princess that barks at *everything*. Squirrels. Cats. Other Dogs. People. She may even bark at shadows, but so far he’s been unable to confirm this theory. But, she’s also a cowering big-talker. When something she’s barking at actually gets close to the house, Princess runs and hides under a bed or in the closet – barking all the time of course. And storms? Her eyes get big as saucers, she starts to whimper and shake. Poor baby. Sometimes, she’s just a big hot mess. J had pretty much accepted that Princess was always going to be like this. After 4 days of giving her half a bite every night, the improvements begin to slowly ebb forward. A few less barks at whatever was agitating her. A little less “menace” in them. CBD VR Staff Review: Bless our little Deidre’s heart. She’s almost 15 now and she’s a part of our family. We love her like she’s one of
our children. She’s always been the kind of dog that barks at squirrels; wants to chase cats; and loves being outside. In the last year though, we’ve seen her spunk and spirit slowly start to ebb away. We thought her fun and frivolous days were now behind her. Enter Austin and Kats Senior Formula.
